Vapor blasting restores surfaces to a clean and slightly peened finish. Most commonly done to aluminum, brass, copper, zinc, and magnesium parts. Can be used for certain (ferrous) steel and iron applications. When blasting non-ferrous metals (aluminum, brass, etc.), vapor blasting leaves a unique non-porous surface, ideal for automotive, motorcycle, and marine rebuilding/ restoration components.

This is a world-class T5 1987- 1993 type that is the correct length input shaft for the classic Mustang conversion.

This transmission is not painted! It has been vapor blasted, the beautiful surface finish will remain nice looking far longer than paint could last. 

Has a reverse brake for ease of shift into a fully synchronized reverse (only the later T5’s had this).

The T5 shifter will come up through the original hole in your Mustang/ Cougar floor.
